My role at Creative Services
In my role as a UI/UX designer, I had a diverse set of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the user experience and maintaining aconsistent visual identity for our brand. A significant part of my work was dedicated to the visual branding of our platform. This involved making thoughtful decisions regarding color schemes, typography and graphical elements. The primary objective was to create a visually engaging and unified experience for our users. Beyond aesthetics, functionality was a keyfocus to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
Close collaboration with product managers and our development team was crucial. This partnership bridged the gap between designand functionality, ensuring that our user interface not only looked impressive but also operated seamlessly.
I also had the privilege of establishing acomprehensive design system. This system included creating standardized designelements, guidelines and components. It was a complex undertaking, requiringthe development and maintenance of a multitude of components. I learned firsthand the intricacies of maintaining a design system over time, includingthe need for adaptability to accommodate evolving design trends while preserving brand consistency. This process highlighted the time and resources required to keep a design system up-to-date and relevant.
Another facet of my role involved creating interactive prototypes, serving as tangible representations of our designconcepts. These prototypes facilitated thorough testing and refinement of the user interface, contributing to the assurance of a user-friendly, intuitive and fully functional final design.
I also played an active role in our platform's rebranding process. This substantial project modernized our brand's visual identity to align with our evolving goals. It encompassed the redefinition of the brand's aesthetics, ensuring that the new design elements seamlessly integrated with our overarching vision.
Book level, full catalog
On the full catalog the publishers would get comprehensive overview of book performance and reader behavior, allowing publishers to make informed decisions and refine their strategies to better cater to their audience's preferences and engagement patterns. Some of the widgets me and my team created for the portal was finish rate, drop off, audience activity and genre popularity.
